This draft National technical regulation stipulates the technical requirements for new pneumatic tires for cars, trailers, and semi-trailers (hereinafter referred to as tires) except for the following types: Tires with corresponding speed symbols of under 60 km/h and over 300 km/h; Tires used for sport racing purposes; and Tires used for national defense and security purposes. This draft National technical regulation applies to establishments manufacturing and importing tires, establishments manufacturing, assembling and importing automobiles, trailers, semi-trailers; and organizations and individuals involved in the inspection, testing and certification of the quality of technical safety and environmental protection for tires.
