On 29 August 2024, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published a request for information (RFI) (notified as G/TBT/N/USA/2027/Add.2) on the "Use of Advanced and Emerging Technologies for Quantification of Annual Facility Methane Emissions Under the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program". The EPA is extending the comment period.
