The draft concerns tobacco substitutes. A tobacco substitute is a product containing nicotine that is not atobacco product, an electronic cigarette or an authorised medicinal product.

Draft Order on the standardisation of the packaging of tobacco substitutes.

The Order lays down requirements for the packaging of tobacco substitutes. The amendment is in line withnotification 2024/326/DK, in which Denmark has notified a draft Act providing authorisation to lay down thestandardisation requirements.

The Order regulates the following for tobacco substitutes:
- Colour requirements and packet elements on unit packets, outer packaging and wrapping material
- Surfaces etc. of unit packets and outer packaging
- Wrapping material on unit packets and outer packaging
- Labelling etc. on unit packets and outer packaging
- Size of unit packet
