The Order concerns tobacco products, tobacco substitutes and herbal products for smoking. A tobaccosubstitute is a product containing nicotine that is not a tobacco product, an electronic cigarette or an authorisedmedicinal product.

Draft Order on studies of specific additives in tobacco products and detailed requirements for the labellingand packaging of cigarettes and roll-your-own tobacco, standardisation of single cigarettes and single nicotinebags, components of unit packets containing chewing tobacco and tobacco surrogates etc.

The amendments to the Order lay down requirements for the standardisation of single cigarettes, roll-your-own tobacco and nicotine bags, as well as requirements for components of unit packets of chewing tobaccoand tobacco substitutes. The amendment follows notification 2024/326/DK, in which Denmark has notified adraft Act providing authorisation to lay down the requirements.

The amendments to the Order concern:
- Standardisation requirements for single cigarettes
- Requirements for surfaces etc. of a cigarette
- Requirements for paper, filter, length and tubes for roll-your-own tobacco
- Standardisation requirements for single nicotine bags
- Surfaces and elements etc. on a single nicotine bag
- Requirements for constituents of unit packets of chewing tobacco and nicotine bags
