Wireless Telegraphy Regulations (Exemption from licensing) (Amendment) 5784-2024
Israel's Ministry of Communication proposed a new amendment to the Wireless Telegraphy Regulations. The regulations set the requirements for the manufacture, trade, installation, operation or possession of a wireless device. The proposed amendment expands the exemption from import licensing for the following wireless devices as detailed in Regulation 2 :
· Household or office projectors, complying with the Radio Equipment Directive (2014/53/EU) and bearing a CE mark;
· Gaming Console, complying with the Radio Equipment Directive (2014/53/EU) and bearing a CE mark;
· Wireless chargers, complying with the Radio Equipment Directive (2014/53/EU) and bearing a CE mark;
· Cochlear implants (hearing aid).
