This document specifies the chemical name, molecular formula and relative molecular weight of ammonium chloride, specifies the technical requirements, sampling, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, storage and shelf life of ammonium chloride as a feed additive, and describes test methods. This document applies to feed additive ammonium chloride, which is produced by combined-soda process using sodium chloride, ammonia (NH3) and carbon dioxide as raw materials, or which is produced by ion exchange method using ammonium salt compound and potassium chloride as raw materials, or which is produced by recrystallization method using industrial or agricultural ammonium chloride produced by above-mentioned process as raw material.
