The types of vehicles concerned correspond to those referred to in Regulation No 2018/858 of the EuropeanParliament and of the Council of 30 May 2018 on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles andtheir trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.

The Order lays down the rules applicable to vans, lorries and tractor vehicle combinations in the course ofgraduation drives, parades and drives during special events or events held annually.
The Order also provides for the carriage of persons on the carrying platform of vans, lorries or tractor vehiclecombinations during graduation drives, parades and drives during special events or events held annually.
