Registration of vessels in the Register of Seagoing Ships of the Republic of Lithuania

Amending draft Order No 3-301 of the Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic ofLithuania of 4 July 2005 approving the Rules on the registration of seagoing vessels of the Republic ofLithuania

The draft proposal is to supplement the Rules on the registration of sea-going vessels approved by OrderNo 3-301 of the Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Lithuania of 4 July 2005 byproviding for that vessels over 25 years of age that are engaged in international voyages are not registered inthe Register of Seagoing Ships of the Republic of Lithuania (when seeking registration in the register for thefirst time), with an exemption for fishing vessels, reefer vessels, vessels flying the flag of a Member Statewhich, in the last three years prior to the submission of the vessel's registration documents to theAdministration, is on the White List of the Paris MOU on Port State Control.
