This Communiqué has been prepared to establish sampling and analysis method criteria for the official control of mycotoxins in food. It also establishes the performance criteria with which the method of analysis used for official control has to be complied.

Communiqué No. 2018/10, published in the Official Gazette dated 15 March 2018 and numbered 30361, has been repealed by this Communiqué.

It has been prepared taking into account the Codex Standard for Contaminants and Toxins in Food and Feed, and Commission Implementing Regulation (EC) No 2023/2782 of 14 December 2023.
