Draft Proposal of the Rules on the testing procedure for automatic catchweighers

The Draft Proposal of the Rules on the testing procedure for automatic catchweighers lays down the testingprocedure for automatic catchweighers during periodical or extraordinary verification to determine whether theautomatic catchweigher meets the prescribed metrological and technical requirements applicable to automaticcatchweighers of category X or Y. Category X applies to automatic catchweighers to check prepackages, whilecategory Y covers all other automatic catchweighers. Technical and metrological requirements relating toautomatic catchweighers are based on the provisions of the Rules on technical and metrological requirementsrelating to measuring instruments (NN No 21/16), in the part relating to Automatic catchweighers (MI-006). Thesaid Rules transposed the Directive 2014/32/EU into the legislation of the Republic of Croatia.

The Draft Proposal of the Rules is primarily intended for authorised metrology officers and metrologicalinspection at the State Office for Metrology and legal entities authorised for verification of automaticcatchweighers.
