Draft Act No. T/7992 on protecting children’s health

Pursuant to the present amendment to Act CLV of 1997 on consumer protection (hereinafter: ConsumerProtection Act) in order to protect children’s health, it is prohibited to sell or serve energy drinks of a specifiedcomposition to persons under the age of eighteen. The Consumer Protection Act authorises the Governmentto determine by decree the composition of energy drinks that cannot be sold or served to persons under theage of eighteen years.
