Gaming advertising; incentivising gaming

Draft Law No XIVP 3481(2) amending Articles 2, 10, 10(3), 21 and 29(2) of Law No IX-325 of the GamingLaw of the Republic of Lithuania

“The advertising of games of chance shall be prohibited on the territory of the Republic of Lithuania, subjectto the exceptions provided for in Article 10(9).” “The dissemination of information concerning the sponsorshipof public events, activities, natural and legal persons of any kind by a gaming company shall be prohibited,except for information on sponsorship of sports events, sports organisations, athletes, sponsorship of culturaland artistic events, cultural and artistic organisations and artistic creators, in so far as this is not contrary to therequirements laid down in Article 10(9), (9)(1) and (9)(2) of this Law. “It shall be prohibited in the Republic ofLithuania to promote participation in games of chance in any form and by whatever means or by any means,with the exception provided for in Article 10(19).”
