The Technical Specification for Type Approval of Diaphragm Gas Meters was promulgated and implemented on November 19, 2003, and the latest revision date was February 6, 2023. In view of the characteristics of the display function for gas meters with electronic indicating devices and the future technical needs of gas meters with combined mechanical and electronic indicating devices, the BSMI proposes to amend the Technical Specification for Type Approval of Diaphragm Gas Meters.
