The draft limits the number of pharmacies in Belgium to the number of pharmacies currently authorised. Inaddition, the draft makes it impossible to grant licences for the creation of new pharmacies. This measure hasa limited validity period (5 years) and is a continuation of a measure in force since 1999. This is therefore anextension of the current policy.
