Wireless devices operating in close proximity to the human body

Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will establish the exposure limit value of absorbed power density from the radio equipment operating in close proximity to the human body (frequency over 6GHz), in accordance with ICNIRP Guidelines 2020 "Guidelines for Limiting Exposure to Time-Varying Electric, Magnetic and Electromagnetic Fields (100 kHz to 300 GHz) " and "C95.1-2019 - IEEE Standard for Safety Levels with Respect to Human Exposure to Electric, Magnetic, and Electromagnetic Fields, 0 Hz to 300 GHz".

In addition, MIC will establish the method of measuring absorbed power density from radio equipment in accordance with "IEC PAS 63446 Conversion method of specific absorption rate to absorbed power density for the assessment of human exposure to radio frequency electromagnetic fields from wireless devices in close proximity to the head and body - Frequency range of 6 GHz to 10 GHz."
