Anexo Técnico de Requisitos Sísmicos para Instalaciones Eléctricas de Alta Tensión (Technical Annex on Seismic Requirements for High-Voltage Electrical Installations) (201 pages, in Spanish)

The notified Annex sets out the minimum seismic requirements for the design of AC transmission system installations, with the aim of ensuring their compliance with safety and service quality objectives.

The provisions set out in this Annex shall apply to installations in all AC transmission systems, i.e. the national, zonal, dedicated and development poles systems. The provisions set out in this Annex shall apply to electrical equipment, structures, establishments and civil works connected to the power lines and electrical substations in the AC transmission system, including booster substations at generating plants connected to the national grid.
