Draft Order of the Minister for Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania amending Order No 3D-225 of theMinister for Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania of 18 April 2005 approving quality requirements for creamand products thereof

The Draft clarifies the provisions of the quality requirements for cream and its products, which wereapproved by Order No 3D-225 of the Minister for Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania of 18 April 2005.

The Draft lays down general rules for the description, manufacture and presentation of cream and its products.The provisions of the Draft are binding on all Lithuanian companies engaged in the production, import and saleof the products defined in this Draft. The Draft also includes a mutual recognition clause, i.e. the ‘single marketclause’, as set out in the Commission Communication COM(2017) 787 final of 19 December 2017.
The Draft contains the definitions of cream and its products, the list of raw materials used, the qualityrequirements for cream and its products, and the main methods of analysis of cream and its products inaccordance with international standards.
